Alongside the ready-to-wear line, 22 Factor has decided to introduce, in 2020, a new collection based on the technology of 3D Knitting. The garments made with this technology are based on a made-to-order model and digitally created by special technological machinery. With 3D Knitting it is therefore possible to make only what is needed, avoiding the overproduction of garments. Even the creation of the samples is performed virtually, thanks to the creation of a digital rendering, further minimizing any waste, resources and time spent.
By saying “no” to mass production and overproduction of garments, the brand also says no to waste and pollution.

Not only recovered materials, but also a strong commitment to the community. 22 Factor collaborates with 3H Handicraft, a social enterprise based in Hong Kong, which teaches over 200 migrant women, most of whom are mothers, the art of crochet. Many of these women, coming from a disadvantaged background, with limited access to work and education, can thus work from home with flexible hours and obtain financial help. Crochet accessories, handmade by these women, are part of the “Unity” collection.
For 22 Factor, the social impact of fashion is as important as the environmental footprint.
